Different Ages, Different Challenges — Same Need to Be Heard

The Men’s Wellbeing Project 2026 is a FREE, community-based mental health initiative offering age-specific workshops for men aged 18+.

Each workshop provides a safe, supportive, and confidential space where men can explore emotional wellbeing, build emotional language, and develop simple coping strategies for everyday life.

This project recognises that men at different stages of life face different pressures, transitions, and challenges — yet often share the same difficulty: knowing how to talk about what’s going on inside.

The workshops aim to gently challenge the cultural stigma that men should “just cope” or remain silent about emotional pain.

There is no pressure to speak, no judgement, and no expectation to share more than you are comfortable with. Listening is participation.

Who Are These Workshops For?

The project is divided into four age-specific groups, allowing each session to reflect the realities of that stage of life:

🔹 Ages 18–25

Confidence, comparison, social media pressure, identity, relationships, and finding direction.

🔹 Ages 26–45

Work stress, relationships, fatherhood, financial pressure, burnout, loneliness, and feeling “behind”.

🔹 Ages 46–60

Life transitions, emotional suppression, caring responsibilities, relationship changes, health concerns, grief, and identity shifts.

🔹 Ages 60+

Purpose, retirement, emotional isolation, grief and loss, health worries, motivation, and reconnecting with meaning.
